Al Bateen Airport Abu Dhabi

Al Bateen airport is the second but oldest airport of the UAE capital, dedicated mainly to private and military aviation. The Design & Build contract has been awarded to the General Contractor Besix (www.besix.com) which has given the engineering to GHD (www.ghd.com) and the contract have included the improving of the fire system with the realization of three water tanks along the maintenance of the RC enclosure walls as well as the construction of a new main gate which has been not constructed anymore. One of our engineers was the structural design manager of the project.
